BioAs a just retired 8 year bartender, I have made the leap into software development...starting from scratch. With the help of a great programming team, I have been given the opportunity to learn Ruby On Rails and the basics of several other programming languages. I am apprenticing under Desi McAdam and also under Obie Fernandez, new author of the programming book The Rails Way.
This will log my experiences as a female neophyte developer in an industry that is at starting point, very foreign to me.
This is a giant leap, so here goes!
